Green Algae Eliminator²

Any Specific instructions?

The only mention of pool volume related to treatment is for heavy rain or frequent backwashing . Use 1.5oz per 10,000 gallons. Or closing the pool. What’s the recommendation for treating algae, for initial treatment or weekly per 10,000 gal? There is zero info on website or bottle. It’s 2020 guys.

Old style worked better

Used the old style religiously to prevent algae and also it would break the surface tension of the water killing bugs that liked to live on the surface of the water. Most specifically I would us it to kill wolf spiders that are dangerous to people that are in the pool. This new product does not help at all. I will have to find a new way of combating the spider issues of our area. That was the only reason I would spend money with this companies expensive pool products.

Old style was much better

I have used the foaming type for years with great success. The new non foaming does not work effectively and I will not purchase again. Please give us the old style back.

I only had to use the Green Algae Eliminator2 once the first time I used it. It took care of my problem completely without having to call out a employee from the pool store

I use this during the summer’s heavy rains to help keep algae from forming, during this time the pool needs a little help.

A product that works

I used this just after the algae starting appearing. I corrected the algae’s growth and killed the algae growth. I now use it on a weekly basic to clear the pool.

I used Green Algae Eliminator2 weekly to help prevent algae buildup during the hot days through June in addition to XtraBlue Shock. I reduced the amount of shock by 1 pound in a 28,000 gallon pool and it worked. I had no problems.

Your Green Algae Eliminator2 is a great product!! I had been using the products from Leslie pools, and had terrible results. Now I use ALL Chlorox products and have no problems what so ever.!!! LOVE THEM!!!

This stuff works quite well

I used this to focus and treat some troubled spots on the sidewalls of the pool with good results. Added some into the effected areas, scrubbed the crud out the the areas, and repeated once or twice as needed.

Fast acting!!

After a couple days of rainstorms our pool started to turn slightly green. I used this product and within 1day pool was back to normal.

Common sense product

Used the Algeciras as a preventive maintenance dosage. Didn’t have any visible growth but had high swimmer volume along with heavy rains to follow and was worried conditions were right for algae. Guess it worked. Had now growth and continue to dose as a maintenance.

Brilliabt product!

Two weeks ago I removed winter cover from our above ground pool for the summer and noticed lots of green stuff on walls and bottom. Upon receiving this product last week and tried it in our pool. Next day, algae was dead and laying around on the bottom. Vacuumed and bingo…all clean. Could not believe it. My kids were thrilled to have our pool back. I’ll buy it whenever we need it. Great product!

Another great Clorox pool product

Here are the facts. I received this product to use for free in return for an honest review. I have also received and reviewed several other Clorox pool products over the last couple of seasons. All reviews have been totally honest and I currently purchase and use Clorox pool products. Due to the effectiveness of all products used, I have not had to use the Green Algae Eliminator2! So I cannot give any kind of review. However, I would bet a month’s salary that if I had to use this product, it would be just as effective as the rest! I highly recommend Clorox for all of your pool maintenance needs! You cannot go wrong!

I have used this product and it does a fantastic job. If you have algea this will take care of it, then just vaccum the dead algea away, great for weekly maintance also.

Clorox Green Algae Eliminator2

I don’t usually have an algae problem but when I do usually after of week of straight rain I use Clorox Green Algae Eliminator2. I have an automatic robotic vacuum that picks up the dead algae skeletons from the bottom of the pool it also climbs up the side but can’t get the corners so I have to manually brush those areas. I’m a chemical engineer and use Clorox products because they make a high quality product.

I have not had an algae problem; however, we have been getting a great deal of rain. Last year when this happened I ended up with a nasty algae issue. I have added this product to my pool in an attempt to stave off the issue this time. Works like a charm so far! Rain will add algae to your pool so fast.

We’ve had a lot of rain and cooler weather so far this summer and it’s been hard keeping everything in balance. This has helped to keep the pool from turning green. I’ve used it as a preventative and it’s been very effective.

I thought my water was clean and clear until I put this product in. It acted as if I put in floc. I was able to visibly see the algae at the bottom of the pool. I wasn’t too happy with manually vacuuming the pool though.

The product works as stated but I really don’t use it very often. I use the 6-in-1 shock and chlorine so I don’t often have an issue with algae. I do like to have this on hand because once in a while I do have problems especially after a bad storm if we get a lot of debris in the pool.

I have used this product for two years now and it has done an amazing job at helping keep that nasty algae out of our pool. Our around 5,000 gallon above ground pool gets a lot of debris in it from large trees in our neighborhood and is succeptable to algae growth. Just when I thought we’d have to drain the pool and start over, this product saved our summer!

A Great Clorox Product!

Clorox has made another great product! We are amazed at how fast and effective this product is in killing and actually preventing green algae in our pool. We live in the southern part of West Tennessee where we often have heavy rains and always have hot, humid days. This can easily cause green algae to appear in our pool. We used the product when we opened the pool and could see the product working almost immediately. We are continuing to use the product as we move into the season as a preventive measure. I like that the product does not foam when I add it to the water and that it is safe enough for me to use weekly. We have to wait only around 15 minutes after using the product before it safe to enter the water. This is a great plus. I like that the Eliminator bottle is easy to hold and makes it super easy to measure out the amount of product needed to treat the pool. Also, clearly printed on the outside of the bottle are clear and easy to understand directions and safety precautions. Unlike when I have used other algae products, I noticed that the nasty scent of dead algae was reduced when I used this product. Overall, I am very satisfied with the performance of this product and highly recommend it.

Great Product, I have uses it for 3 years

I have used the product before, last fall my WalMart was out of the product so I picked up some fro Lowes because my Pool had some algae in it in OctoberI used this and it cleaned up the algae for the winter. I keep the pool open year round!
