Filter Cleaner

Skeptical at first but now a fan

I wasn’t sure at first about this product, but now that I’ve used it several times over the past few years, I’m definitely a fan. I can clean my cartridge filters with just water and get them pretty clean. Then my next step is to use the Clorox Filter Cleaner, which causes more dirt and crud come out and the filters look even more bright and clean. It’s really easy to use. I just spray the filter cleaner on my filters and let it sit for a few minutes. Then use my hose sprayer to rinse the filters again. I’m amazed every time.

Bottle doesn’t have what ingredients are in the bottle. The color of products should be blue so you can see it going thru the glass. Directions don’t tell you how long to wait before swimming again.

Amazing WOW

WOW! So glad to have found this product. Never knew there was one on the market. I used to have to backwash my pool 2-3 times weekly and now after using this product, I backwash about once a month! Amazing WOW!

Kind of Iffy

I’m not really sure that it really worked for my filter. I’m still having some sediment coming out into our pool. I have back washed it three times since I added the Filter Cleaner and there’s still sediment coming in the pool.

Clorox Filter Cleaner

Clorox Filter Cleaner is a great product. It does a fantastic job of cleaning pool filters. What I like most is there are multiple ways you can use this product so you can reuse them over and over. I recommend this product.

Good

Seems to work good. I usually clean my filters regularly. This time I used the spray and it seems to work. Now my filters usually don’t get to dirty since I clean them every 3 months. The spray didn’t seem to make it easier maybe if the filters were really dirty I would notice a significant difference.

change color

I used this product just as instructed. I was unable to tell a big difference. I was not able to detect when the product reached the filter so I had to guess. Maybe if color was different then it could be easily detected.

Nice to have

Bought this cleaner last summer and was really impressed. We got so much more life out of our filters using this. Specially since they are still not so easy to find due to Covid. You can do without, but at their price, it is definitely worth it.

So easy anyone can use it.

I have only great things to say about this product. I use it first as a cleaning product when reopening my pool for the spring. Then i used it again to prep and clean my filter for my above ground pool. It work amazingly.

Back to clean

This was a simple way to go from neon filters to white! Loved how this also helped the diet to release faster. Will definitely continue to use. If you want your cartridge filters to look the way the did when you pitched them, this product is a must.

Great product

Overall, very great product and easy to use. Application was very easy. I saturated the filters and allowed it to sit for five minutes. Product cleaned filters very well. I am very satisfied with the cleaner.

Great for your filter!

Definitely a great product to use for a filter pool. We didn’t properly close our pool for the winter, so we had green algae all throughout the pool, the piping and the filter. This product helped during the deep clean of the filter.

Easy to use at an affordable price

The Clorox Filter Cleaner is so easy to use in the handy spray bottle. It makes pool maintenance and upkeep much easier with it’s portability. It is so easy to use and helps to keep our pool filter clean.

Skeptical before using, but now I’m a believer!

At first I was skeptical of using this but I’m so glad I did! Thinking, yeah right, this won’t work. Boy was I wrong. I have a sand filter and followed the instructions to have it enter and sit in my sand filter. I don’t believe it’s my imagination, but my filter seems to work much better now. It wasn’t horrible before, but I’ve noticed my pool being even cleaner and clearer than before using the filter cleaner. I’m a believer in this now and will be using it from now on. Highly recommend trying this product. You’ll be quite surprised like I was.

Best filter cleaner on the market

This is a great product for cleaning out your sand filter. I thought my filter was going bad and had to be replaced. I did not have high hopes but thought it was worth a shot. Put it in the filter, waited 24 hours, back-washed and now back in business !!!! Filter as good as new!!!!! Will definitely buy again

LOOKS LIKE IT JUST CAME OUT OF THE BOX

This product is amazing. I do my own pool maintenance and clean my pool cartridge monthly. I spray the filter cleaner directly into the cartridge membrane. Let it sit for about on half hour and hose off. Comes out looking brand new.

Cleaner filter, Cleaner water!

Clorox Filter Cleaner, has lessened the time required to clean the pool filter. The filter is cleaner and I will not have to be replacing as frequently! Not only is my time cleaning the filter lessened, my pocket book is fuller! Cleaner filter equals cleaner water! This is definitely a win win for all!

Works Great!!!

Works great in my pool. I have a 20k gallon in ground pool living in Arizona the filter quickly fills up from dust storms in the summer. This is perfect. Love the easy directions and quick results. Would recommend this to anyone.

Simple to use

The filter cleaner is a good addition to regular maintenance. Just pour into the filter inlet, let sit for an hour, then back flush out. This a a good way to clean out buildup that accumulates in the filter.

Filter cleaner

I used this cleaner on my filter cartridge. With the pandemic, I had a hard time finding new filters last summer and had to reuse the same one with daily cleaning. After receiving this cleaner, I used it on my year old cartridge. It removed a lot of the built up gunk that rinsing with the hose didn’t get.

Great and Simple Solution

This filter cleaner is extremely simple to use and very reliable. I’ve cleaned my filters with this solution twice a year for the last 3 years with no problems at all. Simply follow the instructions on the bottle and watch your filters go from an ugly brown to a cleanly white. You cannot go wrong with Clorox’s filter cleaner.

Filter Cleaner

It works great. Will order again. I used it on my very dirty filter and it helped clean it up and got it looking great again. Its effect is impeccable. I use it after it rains or at least once per week.

Favorite Product

Whew Talk about Filter Cleaner. Last Summer I went through so many. Filters without knowing there was something called a filter cleaner!! This is my favorite thing from the Clorox Pool Products. Love.

Filter cleaner

I have a grid system and the grids are over a year old. After using the cleaner filters look brand new! Very effective and easy to use. Sprayed grids with cleaner and rinsed for bright white brand new looking!

Super

Great product! High recommend.!!! Now I realized the cleaning my filters weekly. I recommend this product 100 % for the filters and pools. The smells is super strong but it’s ok. The filter isn’t super cleans.

Great product for cleaning the filter

Great product for cleaning filter. Starting the season out with a clean filter will help for the year to come. Product arrived on time and is well packaged. Directions were simple to understand and follow. Would recommend.

Filter Cleaner

Have just used it once so far. Seemed to work as intended on the filter. I will try it a couple of more times to see how effective it is versus the filter care we used the past year. It also seemed to have pretty good coverage for the amount of spray I used.

Easiest way to get your filters clean!

This is a product that I didn’t know existed. I just spray it on the filter and a ton of gunk runs right off with the garden hose. It gets it significantly cleaner than just spraying with a hose, it’s really impressive.

Filter cleaner

My filter had never been cleaned since it was first installed. Talk about nasty!!! I took my sand filter top off and began flushing it out with water being very careful not to break the filter itself. Once I was finished I started in with the filter cleaner. This product does what is says and as long as you follow the instructions you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the results you’ll get. My pool was a mess until I used this and now I’m a believer in what it does.

Helps clean and extend filter life

This filter cleaner really amazed me at how well it worked. I didn’t think my filter was dirty after I rinse it out regularly, but my water was a bit cloudy. I sprayed this cleaner on my filter after rinsing and was amazed at the amount of stuff that still came out when rinsing a second time. I could see the particles and cloudiness of the rinse water. My pool was sparkling clean after totally cleansing my filter.

Does the job

I was surprised by how well this product works. Due to an algae bloom I was going through filters every few days. I soaked my filters overnight in a bucket and was able to extend their life. Will buy again.

Definitely Recommend

I use it on my Coleman Saluspa filters and it works wonderfully. Turns dirty filters into new ones! Couldn’t be happier with this product.

Filter Cleaner

Backwashed until water was clear. Added Filter Cleaner and backwashed again. The wastewater was no longer clear but a light gray Product did a deeper cleaning than backwashing alone. It would be worth using this product.

Easy to use

Easy to use. Sprays on very easy, you can see the dirt come up to the surface. I used this on both swimming pool filter and hot tub filter and it really works. Spray it on, let it soak and wash it away.

Much needed product!

I had never used this product before, but I really loved it! I spray this on my pool equipment and saw grime just melting off. My pool is out in the elements and gets really nasty sometimes. I am happy I now have a product that I can use to clean my filter safely.

DE Filter

Once a year after the pollen is over I clean my DE filter. I have just used the power of the garden hose in the past to clean. It takes some time. This speeds it up but not a necessity. If you have on hand great it speeds it up some.

Makes filter cleaning that much easier

started maintaining my own pool last year. Used this product when cleaning my filter and it got most of the dirt, grease and debris out of the cartridge filters. Would recommend using this product for all your filter cleaning needs.

Worked ok

Worked ok. It cleaned the open areas of the filter, but could not clear bridging on a DE filter. So it worked as well as I suspected that it would. The DE filter was being run with fiber material instead of DE.

Icky to clean

Product works great to thoroughly clean filter. Recommend to wash outside with water hose. Stains a steel sink.
