Phunky Phosphate Remover

Doesn’t work

Phosphate level was at 2800mg. Did 2 treatments 1 full bottle each day. Pool is 28000 gallons. Followed all instructions. Had water tested after 2nd treatment. It only reduced by 800. The bottle said it removes 1000mg with initial treatment.

Worst phosphate remover on the market

Don’t don’t buy at all tried 4 products and this doesn’t do anything at all even had it tested 3 times to check the PPB phosphate levels which didn’t lowers it at all.

Does Not Work

I used the entire 92 oz bottle over 3 weeks and it didn’t lower my phosphate levels. I used nophos from Leslie’s Pools and phosphates were gone after the first dose. Clorox brand is 1/2 the cost but it doesn’t work.

Great summer coming up!

I find this product to be doing good job removing stuff from my AG pool. Amazing clear water and my kids aren’t afraid to go in the pool anymore. We’re gonna be having a good summer! Will order more when needed.

good product

This product did do the job it was designed to do. It took 48 hours to clear up my pool. It initially made it slightly cloudy in the first 24hours. By day 2 you could see the phosphate that had settled to the bottom of the pool.

Palm tree trouble

So i have 3 palm trees right above my pool and talk about bad placement…. they keep dropping trash and messing up my pool…. result high phosphates .. this stuff really works and removes all those phosphates! just remember to backwash or clean your filters!

Works great! But know what to expect

Hope this helps anyone who is going to use this product. 1st, it is imperative you test for phosphate levels before using. You need to know how much you need to lower the phosphate level before you apply. It WILL cloud the water. You WILL have to clean your filter, likely more then once. It may take a few or several applications to lower the phosphates to under 100. It took 48 hours to completely clear up my water. But after the 48…WOW! Water has never looked so crystal clear. I went from 500 to about 300, so I need at least 1 more application. Only used 1 quart. Do not try and use too much in one application, the filter will clog up too fast. Lower the phosphate level a little at a time. Bottom line… this product does exactly what it should do. It’s inexpensive , and easy to use. Be ready to live with cloudy water for a few days. Be sure to run the filter on high for 48 straight hours, minimum. And be prepared to clean the filter, maybe more then once. A clarifier helps clear the water faster.

Doesn’t get easier then this.

This product is amazing. All the foreign debris clumped together and settled at the bottom for easy clean up. I wasable to use vacuum to quickly remove debris using this product. I would highly recommend this for both in ground and above ground pools.

GREAT Product

Great product it help me to keep my pool very clear, we never use it before and it really help a lot to keep the pool clear. Now that the summer is coming, is very important to keep the algas out and maintenance the water as clear as possible

Use this weekly

This easy to use Clorox brand product helped to clear the water in our pool. I use one cap full each week to maintain good water chemical levels. I love using all of the family of Clorox pool products and buy them when they are available.

Effective phosphate remover

The bottle was adequate size for my pool (20k gallons) and did a great job of reducing phosphate levels. Product was easy to use and Overall, I am very satisfied with the product and will continue to use.

It works!

My pool was so green it was almost black! This product combined with the shock cleared the algae up in three days! I will definitely be adding this to my normal weekly additives to keep the pool clear this summer. Living in Florida it can be difficult sometimes to keep the pool clear, but I am convinced that this will do the trick this summer!

A must have to prevent algae

The best way to treat algae is to never have. Use the Phunky Phosphate Remover to get rid of the algae food source. Just a few capfuls a week will keep the pool phosphate free to keep the dreaded algae away.

This stuff worked great. You have to keep in mind that you will need to clean your filter multiple times after using this product due to the dead algae…A welcome task to have the pool water as clear as it is now.

From Green to Clear

When we purchased our home the pool was a disaster from previous owner doing a poor job maintaining chemical levels. The water was green with algae. We used Phunky Phosphate Remover to treat the problem. Cleared up the problem in a little over 24 hours. We also use the Clorox Green Algae Eliminator weekly as directed to keep our pool sparking clear.

Works Great!

Works great in my pool. I have a 20k gallon in ground pool living in Arizona the phosphates accumulates fast from your pool in the summer. This is perfect. Love the easy directions and quick results. Would recommend this to anyone.

Easy To Use

I have used this product twice and it actually works wonders it made it super easy to vacuum. The first time I used it I wasn’t really sold until the second time. I live in Az so it gets really hot and the clean up was super easy.

Magic miracle worker

My dang pool went out of wack and this product fixed it over night. I love this stuff it worked a lot better then I anticipated. A lot of people say you don’t need to remove the phosphates because as long as you keep the chlorine high you wont have a problem. Well, what about when you go on vacation or it downpours for a few days and you don’t get out there quick enough to add more shock? I use once a year in the spring and I’ve yet to have an algae outbreak while using this.

My phosphate levels were a little high after a storm blew lots of leaves into my pool. This product was easy to use and worked quickly to bring my levels back down. I would recommend this to anyone needing to lower phosphate levels.

Great product, keeps the algae from growing in the pool. Much less expensive than others and works better. As long as directions are followed and pumps are left running for at least 24 hours, it works great. Be ready to vaccuum after 24-48 hours.

It works great. Will order again. I put it in my algae ridden pool and it helped clear up the water and to got it looking great again. The effect is impeccable. I use it after it rains or at least once per week

This product works great. Just follow the instructions on the label that are clear and easy to read. You will start to see a difference in the pool water within days. Helping keep the water clean and safe to swim is a top priority.

Doing it’s job

This is a tough one! Its must be doing its job – my pool looks great. It’s just not as “instant” or east to tie back to this product as other treatments. But, it’s working! A capful (for my size pool) every week and the phosphates are kept in check, in turn keeping algae and chlorine usage in check.

So I have only started using the phosphate remover. So far I am impressed. It really clears up my pool and makes it look great. The pool just seems more clear than usual. I think as the pool season comes on I will see more benefit from this.

Phosphate

Only 4 stars because we live in the country and our well water is one of the toughest I’ve ever had to try and balance. This product does what is says and as long as you follow the instructions you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the results you’ll get.

The BEST Phosphate Remover

I have used many other Phosphate removers and Clorox is the absolute best. I love this stuff- worked a lot better than I expected. Many pool owners say you don’t need to remove the phosphates as long as the chlorine level is high and you will not have a problem. Using this time to keep my pool water clear all year long. Clorox provides great products to tackle all types of problems and they are available at my local Lowe’s big box store down the street. I recommend this product.

Never had an issue while using

Since I started Phunky Phosphate Remover to my pool as part of my regular maintenance routine, I have not had any issues with high phosphate levels. I add a dose once a week as directed. Easy to use and doesn’t make a mess.

Best product to keep water maintenance low.

This is a great maintenance product for my above ground pool. It helps to keep the levels of phosphate and avoid getting algae in my pool. It helps to keep the maintenance and adjusting the chlorine levels and pH at a minimum. it has helped to finally keep the levels where they should be and just treat weekly for maintenance. Before trying the phosphate remover; i had to constantly be adding chemicals since I couldn’t keep a steady number on pH, and hardness but know is just once a week for maintenance. It just works wonders, i don’t know why I didn’t use this before.

Not sure about to This yet.

Haven’t really had a chance to use this product. Did pour some in, but I wasn’t really having any issues, so I’m not sure if it has an effect. I know that Clorox products are all very good so I’m going to say that this one will do the job too.

Unclear

Not really sure what this product is used for. I use the Clorox test strips and the app has never recommended that I use this product. I am sure it is very good but I don’t really know what this product is used for.

Easy to use

Using this product has helped to not only remove but also to prevent it from appearing. I am using this product in a inground pool with a capacity of 5900 gallons. We do not get much rain, so do not have a runoff problem in my pool.

Phunky Phosphate Remover

To be fair, I have only used this product once and I would like to see if it manages the phosphate level with just a maintenance dose. I do like the convenience of using the cap to measure the remover.

I do not know if I had phosphate but added this to seasonal startup. I cannot say if it did what it claims but it was like adding laundry detergent from the appearance of the jug to the consistency of the liquid

Great job of maintaining a pool. Very easy to use. Works as expected. Also good for weekly maintenance of your pool. Simple instructions, very simple and easy to use. Great product if you need to perform this type of maintenance.

Crystal Clear Water

EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!! This helped reduce my high phosphate levels and made my water crystal clear. My pool is ready for spring. Make sure to backwash your filter system or you may have cloudiness still around.

Excellent product. Lowerd my phosphate levels which were high within 24 hrs. I now also use it weekly for added maintenance. One cap full and that is it. Would definitely buy again. The big test will be in summer.

Outstanding Product!

This immediately lowered the phosphates in my pool which helped me contain and manage algae. I cleaned the pool filter after and now the pool is reading normal levels. I have used other brands, but Clorox is the best by far!

Good weekly product.

I have always had an issue with my pool phosphates getting to 1000 ppb or greater. After using this product I am able to keep the phosphates at a manageable 500 ppb by weekly dosing. I have noticed some cloudiness after treatment but it dissipates within about a day.

Great Product

Works really well and keeps the pool very clean. Ideal for use after a heavy rain or when wind blows leaves into your pool. My family can feel the difference in cleanliness and I can see it in the health of our pool.

Worked well, should have a warning

This product performed very well to remove excess phosphates, related to high hardness. However, I run a DE filter with fiber. A warning should be added to not use this product, unless using DE in said filter.
