Maintain a Clean Pool
Your pool chemistry can change quickly. Test your pool water weekly to ensure your Free Chlorine level remains between 1 – 4 ppm.
Fill your feeder or floater with tablets and adjust output to bring chlorine to 1 – 4 ppm, test and refill as needed to maintain adequate sanitization. For skimmer application, add 1 tablet per 10,000 gallons to bring chlorine to 1 – 4 ppm, then add more tablets as needed to maintain adequate sanitization.

Buyer Beware!!
I thought I was doing everything right. What I did not realize was that the tablets are notorious for creating low PH which destroyed my pool heater in a very short time. Don’t be fooled by the clear water — what a price I paid!!

Good but why
Have been using this product and ones like it for years and they work great. My “why” is this … WHY are the tablets individually wrapped? The last three or four I have purchased have been like this …. what a pain to have to unwrap 10 per cycle of filling my auto feeder.

AMAZING PRODUCT
FOR 40 YEARS i HAVE BEEN FIGHTING ALL THE MAGIC NUMBERS TO BALANCE MY POOL THIS YEAR WE BOUGHT THE ACTIVE 99 AT BJ’S FOR THE FIRST TIME AND MY POOL HAS BEEN CLEAR, NO ALGAE, NO SLIME JUST COOL CLEAR WATER . I HAVE NOT EVEN HAD TO BACK WASH AND I USUALLY HAVE TO CLEAN THE GRIDS ONCE OR TWICE A SUMMER; THIS YEAR…NOT YET AND WE CLOSE IN 4 WEEKS. I DO NOT KNOW OR CARE WHAT IS IN IT BUT IT IS NOW MY PREFERRED PRODUCT

poor quqlity
Pool cloudy since I stared using Active 99. Tabblets were not wrapped and is overpowering when you open the container. Got a lot of rain and my pool turned completely dark green. Finally got that taken care of but still cannot get the cloudiness out. Had my water checked at a pool Pro and my water chemistry in fine. I firmly believe that the problem is Active 99. changing tablets today and I will know for sure.

Good Product
Good product! This is as good as any chlorine product on the market. I’ve used it all summer and have had no issues. My pool has been balanced, stabilizer level has been low, and with algae treatment I’ve had not algae problems.

dispensing canister is awful
While the tablets are chlorine, the canister that contains the “in plastic wrapper” tablets is awful. Despite that I kept it closed moisture got in and the chlorine is starting to decompose. When I get more tablets out of the canister I have to hold my breath, grab the tablets (the plastic wrap is disintegrating as I do this) and get the tablets I need. I did not have this issue with a competitors product without individual wrapped tablets. Their lid screwed on and I kept that bucket for 1 1/2 seasons, never any trouble.

Easy to obtain and use
The tablets in this tub are individually wrapped so they are much easier to handle than loose tablets and this also helps keep the chlorine smell down. Despite being individually packaged, some of the tablets are surprisingly broken. They are still usable, but you do end up with smaller bits in the dispenser which don’t last as long. Very convenient being able to purchase these from almost any store when needed.

Great Product from a Brand I trust
I use Clorox Bleach for my laundry and other Clorox cleaning products around my home so why not try Clorox for my swimming pool. I am extremely pleased with the product and trust Clorox for clean, safe swimming pool water. Easy to use and tablets chlorinate pool just fine. Highly recommend! Easy to carry pail, very convenient.

Good product
I have a salt system but always use chlorinating tablets when I open my pool. Once I got my water stabilized, I threw a few Clorox tablets in the skimmer and my floating chlorinator and my levels have been perfect. I really like the easy-open storage tub, but I’m not sure why the tablets are individually wrapped. Seems to be unnecessary and wasteful packaging. That’s the only reason I’m not giving five stars.

Much better, but
Last two years, I’ve hated the product packaging. The lid’s plastic hinge fatigues to the point that it finally fails, which opens up the bin so rain water leaks in and spoils the product. It also allows chlorine gas smell into the area. The biggest problem with using any chlorine tab is the noxious smell that burns your eyes and throat when adding tabs to the chlorinator. Clorox’s latest innovation is to individually wrap each tab. This eliminated the noxious smell and made the tabs safer to handle. Great idea! Now, please do something about the lid.

I have a 22,000 gal. pool I put 3 tabs in the floater per week. they last at least that long and everything stays pretty stable, I usually add about .75 lbs. of Clorox PH UP as well.

The best your money could buy. Better than other branded or even generic tablets. Only issue is the container is rather small and I much prefer something in a 5 gallon drum.

Does Exactly What It Needs To
This product helps to perfectly balance by pools chlorine level. It helps to take the guesswork out of granules and slowly releases the chlorine over a long period of time. I like the fact that these last forever and slowly deteriorate so that I am not constantly having to replace them.

Clorinating tablets
We use these to help keep our chlorine levels stable, especially in the hot Texas weather where the sun seems to zap a lot of your products out of the pool. Use along side with the stabilizer to help keep it all it! Easy to use, works wonders!

These Clorox Active 99 tablets last a long time.
I previously used one pound chlorine sticks from another company because they lasted a long time in the skimmer and most tablets weren’t recommended for the skimmer. These Clorox tablets are 8 ounces and are for skimmer use. They last just as long or longer than the sticks I used before.

Active 99 Chlorinating Tablets
The Active 99 Chlorinating Tablets are so much easier and safer than liquid chlorine. You just put them in your dispenser and let them chlorinate your pool. They contain sun stabilizer that makes the chlorine last longer in sunlight.

Clorox pool tabs
I used the tabs in my pool opening. The tabs made a strong bleach smell. I have used many types of tabs and these had a strong chlorine smell that if you got near it, it would burn your eyes. They also took way to long to dissolve and did not give a good level in my pool..

Great product!
The 3 inch tablets work exactly as expected. I have been using Clorox pool products for 2 pool seasons. One thing I like about them is that they seem to last longer than other brands. My pool seems very stable with their use. I use way less other products because my pool stays clear.

Best Chlorine Tablets
I have been maintaining pools for well over 40 years. This is by far the best chlorine tablet product I have used. I have used other Clorox products for pool care for the past few years now, and I have been pleased with them. Clorox products are now the only ones I use. These tablet are well packaged, certainly easy to use, and they do the job. I use them in both my pool and my spa. And their cost is at or even below other brands. They are available at major retailers as well, making purchasing even more convenient. I am a satisfied customer.
