Working good

After a few weeks of having the pool open again, I noticed a scale line forming around the pool. I forgot I had this but gave it a try. It did a good job of getting the scale off the tile but didn’t seem to help much with the build up on the grout. In fairness, I didn’t use this until after I noticed a problem. I tackled the buildup with a scrubby and something else I bought. Since then I have been using this as a preventative every week and no more problems. Wish I had done that BEFORE I had a problem. I received this free in exchange for an honest review.

Used this product and if did the trick in removing the water stains from the top of our pool. Was fast and easy to use with a brush.

I am not too sure about this product. I have had my pool now for almost 2 years and only have had to use this product one time and am not sure if it did any difference or helped. I just did it because the app told me to do it after i tested the water.

Chemistry lesson

I have used this for diagnosed high copper levels which turn the water emerald green. From what I figure, this only works when the ph is below 7.0 to allow the copper ions to be removed-then it works great

We had our tile power washed to make it look newer than it was. Clorox has kept it looking great! Love this product!

Disappointed

Product did nothing for my small rust stain spots. In fact, I’m not sure there was any difference once I added entire bottle into Fiberglas pool (10k gals.)

Easy to get the minor stains out

We get minor stains as the summer progresses. I put this in one night and a few days later the stains had faded.

This Scale, Metal and Stain product has helped to bring water hardness down considerably. I have used three bottles of this and the first one was the one that brought it down from off the scale to somewhat high level. Other bottles have not moved the marker much lower.

I received this product from Clorox to test and write a review. However, I do not have a hard water problem in my area and have not had the opportunity to try. That being said, if it is like their other pool products, it will work just fine!

Stained Pool

I was amazed at this product.. I poured the entire bottle in my 20,000 gallon pool in the late afternoon, after checking that the PH was within the correct range, and by the next morning the stain had disappeared. Great product.

It’s kind of hard to tell if this stuff works or not, but it appears to be doing the job.

I am still new at this pool thing. It seems like I have to use a lot of this in my pool. Last year I couldn’t find it and so I didn’t put much in the pool and it wasn’t to bad. So I can’t say how good it is. Add it and strips say its ok for several days and then ask for this product again.

All of the clorox pool products work exceptionally well. Save my hisband from hours of tinkering with the chenicals to keep them right and safe for swimming! May be more expensive, but you soend less in the long run because you dont have to do as much to the pool!

Worked Fine!

This was my first time using a scale cleaner but I was very happy I did. It worked great as I was opening my pool for the season.

Don’t know if it works

My clorox app recommended this product to lower alkalinity. Not sure why. I used the whole bottle, especially around my ladder, which is the only place I see rust. I don’t expect those stains to go away, but hopefully this will prevent more stains. Too soon to tell.

Scale and metal control

We have well water and when we fill our pool with have a water filter on it as it goes in. I had some brownish spots on bottom of liner thought it maybe sand coming back in but tested pool and it told me to add 1.25qts of the scale and metal to it I have done this 3 times now and today my pool is Mountain Dew green I am losing it. My PH is high and I am trying to get it down too it is so frustrating. I am not seeing how this is helping my problem

Just ok

I have had high alkalinity in my pool for over a week. I have purchased 2 bottles of this product during this time. It said to only add half a quart. So this should have been 4 treatments. After following all directions it did not come down. I did this 4 diffrent times using both quarts. The alkalinity is still over 200 ppm. I feel this product does not really work. I give it two stars because it did help with the cloudyness of the pool.
