Easy effective shock

Good effective shock product. Dissolves quickly and raises the chlorine level. I have no idea what the 4 in one refers to as there are no details to explain it on the package. I also noticed that the packages are apparently not completely sealed as i could smell the chemical odor in the closet where the unopened product was stored.

Sprakling clean clear water

I am reviewing the clorox pool amd spa shock. It has been a life saver with all the weather weve been having in texas and the heat combined its hard to keep the algea at bay. I use this product to know my water is bacteria fungi and germ free and crystal clear to enjoy daily. It is super eaay to use and does its job very well. I recommend this product to anyone who need to keep the pool sparkling clean year round.

Quick and easy shock product

I used one of the 1 lb. bags of Shock Clear to increase the chlorine level in my pool. After waiting awhile for my system to cycle a few times, I retested my water and the chlorine level as perfect! It was also very clear. No chlorine smell and dissolved very quickly.

Great Product

This is a great product which I have been using for many years in my inground pool. Unlike other products I have used it dissolves quickly and works as expected. I can always expect a better pool experience when I use this product.

Clears up quick!

We have had an abundance of rain this year. That always makes maintaining a pool in the spring a challenge. My name is Pat. I am 72 years old and live in Fort Pierce, Fl. I have been maintaining my concrete/gunite pool for 23 years ever since I moved to Florida. I have a 15 year-old 10,000 gallon pool with an attached spa. One of the standout features of Clorox Shock Clear is how quickly it dissolves. After adding it to the pool, we can swim within the stated 15 minutes, but generally I wait for at least 30. It makes the maintenance process swift and hassle-free, allowing us to enjoy the pool with minimal downtime. While Clorox Shock Clear is effective, I noticed that for a little more money, you can opt for the Clorox 6 in 1 formula (Shock XTRABlue). The Clorox Shock Clear is a 4 in 1 formula. I would still recommend Clorox Shock Clear for those looking for a reliable and quick-dissolving pool shock solution. Wonderful

Keeps pool crystal clear with a blue hue even after a week of rain. It so clear that it makes everything visible. Needless to say my robot gets a lot of pool time because of it. It resembles a blue sky on a sunny day.

Weekly maintenance

Currently in South Florida During the summer. The Product works well, and I am using it as a weekly shock to my pool. This is the four and 1 product however I like the six and one product a lot better. I think this product will be better doing this winter and fall time.

Setting up my pool after it was store for winter always presents it share of challenges. This year after cleaning and setting it up I added Clorox clear shock to treat my pool. The treatment worked great, was fast dissolving and was swim ready in 15 mins. What I’ve also noticed is that it has improved my filter system. Would highly recommend product.

Wonderful shock

Great for maintaining our pool. Once a week put this in and keep the chlorine tabs in the dispenser; you never need to do anything else. I used it to shock my pool since it was feeling kind of slimy on the bottom. Within hours it started to work. Quite impressed, By the next day the pool looked great. No slimy and not a bit of green in the pool. Great brand and won’t us anything else anymore.

Quickest dissolving shock I’ve used

Clorox Shock Clear 4 in 1 Formula one pound bags were about the easiest dissolving chlorine shock I have ever used in my vinyl inground pool. They poured out of the bag with zero clumps to splash and raised my chlorine as expected for an available chlorine of 40%. I have to question though why isn’t there any mention of the other 3 chemicals in the formula. The warning “DO NOT mix with other chemicals (a violent reaction may result) doesn’t make the product seem safe without knowing what the other 57% makeup is. I think the Swim-ready in 15 minutes notice is a bit dangerous too, as with all pool chemicals you need to read the whole statement on the front and back to understand some of the claims.

Clorox Shock Clear

I have a in ground pool that has been covered for the winter. when the cover was removed the water was very cloudy. After using Clorox Shock Clear and adding baking soda to increase the PH, the water has cleared up. First picture shows a little cloudy and second picture shows clear water! Clorox Shock works very well. Only chemicals I have added is just the chlorine sticks after the shock.

I regularly shock the pool after a lot of use or just to ensure my chlorine is working effectively in the South Florida heat. This product is very effective and worked well. Great product

These are quality chlorine shock bags from the chloring all the way to the packaging. The bags are thick and do not rip at the slightest touch. The shock itself works fantastic. It took my pool from this green mess to the blue mess in about 36 hours. Now I just need to vacuum all the tree and leaf debris since I can now see it!

I have used the shock in my pool which works very well for my above ground pool I use it according to the directions on the package. I would highly recommend to others with small pools as it is very effective and easy to use.

Works for me

I pit the measure/ required amount of shock chemical in an old sock. I then suspend the sock in the pool by a cord over the water inlet. In a few hours it is completely dissolved and i put the sock away for next time.

Utilized granular shock to bring levels up quicker. Was very effective after having low levels of chlorine. Good product to use after a rain storm as well. Does require some brushing off the bottom of the pool. Will continue to use weekly.

Works as expected, best for maintenance

We used this product at pool opening. We think it might be better used for regular maintenance. The pool looked pretty good when we opened, had a solid all season cover on it. Added this shock to bring up chlorine levels.

Great Tool for your Pool Tool Chest

I have found my go to brand. All the Clorox pool products work together, and this pool shock is just one the tools. Really you don’t need much shock if you test the pool often with the Clorox stripes and follow the directions. Rarely have to shock saving money. This shock was just perfect for opening up for the season.

Great product

Another great product by Clorox for the pool. Directions were very easy to understand. Product simple to use. Broadcast it in the deep end when I took off the cover. Brushed the sides and bottom afterwards to dissolve any left and to clean sides. Water was slightly cloudy at open but within hours was crystal clear. Been about 10 days and residual is fine and pool looks great.

I have a 18X36 in ground liner pool. We had a new liner installed in October of last year. Installed about 17 bags of Clorox pool salt after the install for the salt chlorinator. Discovered we had a leak and was losing water. Pool just kinda sit over the winter till it warmed up to find the leak. Got the leaked repaired and got pump back up and running. Again add Clorox salt back. Pool was green and cloudy, used the Clorox shock along with Clorox ph up product to get the ph up. I have just started to do my own water testing and do my own maintenance. Pool looks great now, it’s crystal clear. We had a a lot of people over this weekend and I just did a backwash and added some Clorox 4 in 1 shock. Thanks to the Clorox website and help my pool looks better than when I was taking samples to a pool shop. I would highly recommend Clorox pool products.

Wonderful product

We have an I ground pool for the first time and this product works wonders. We haven’t used anything else. We use to have an above ground pool and to be honest when we saw this product and it was a little lesser then the other one that we use to use. Again it is sound and works great.

I have maintained our 18,000 gal in-ground pool for over 20 years and have used many different products over the years. When I used Clorox Pool & Spa Shock Clear 4-in1 the pool was the cleanest and clearest it’s ever been. It covers all of the necessary issues in one bag. Amazing Results

Worked really well!!

I was chosen to try the Clorox Pool and Spa Shock Treatment. This is based upon my opinion only. It’s a 4 n 1 formula, kills bacteria and algae. It improves filter performance, fast dissolving. Suitable for vinyl pools and spas. We opened the pool in the beginning of May, so of course it needs chemicals to get it going. We started with a shock treatment first. It worked perfectly. Says you can go swimming in as little as 15 mins after. We waited just to make sure it was dissolved. The product was dissolved at 15 mins but our pool is a nice size so we gave it an hour and a half. We used it accordingly to the directions and size on the box. Water is super blue and even cleaner. Tested it and our numbers are where they should be. I definitely would recommend this product for opening and closing off your pools. It absolutely works!!

Miracle working shock!

I love the Clorox Shock Clear for our pool! It works wonderful. Our pool was heading towards green due to rain & neglect but this cleared it. I added it to the pool and could see it start to work right away. Definitely recommend for keeping your pool maintained.

Long time user won’t use anything else in my pool

I’ve been using Clorox shock for a few years now I can’t say how easy my pool has been to take care of from top to bottom. I have less maintenance and downtime than I have in the past. Water is always clear and I use less shock. Every once in a while when I run out, I’ll go get it different brand and it seems like I have to use so much more shock

I have an 18′ above ground pool and these Clorox 4 in 1 shock treatments are just what any pool owner needs to get your water clear of bacteria and algae. After applying, you only need 15 minutes before going into the pool which is great when you have anxious kids! I like that it disolves quickly and can be safely used on vinyl as well as in ground pools. There are 6 to a box and usually only takes one treatment to get my pool ready for summer and maintained during heavy use or rain storms. Always good to have on hand!

very easy to use

Very easy to use , and works great. Helps to keep the water clear and cloud free and doesn’t clump or clog the filter. We have an in ground 30,000 gallon free form pool in East Texas. We have had our pool for 3 years.

Great Shock

This shock seems to do a great job clearing up my water and keeping the algae down. I like to follow it up with clarifier later the same day. I usually use a quarter or half bag at a time. Works better than the off brand shock

Clorox Shock Clear always does the trick. I’ve had my pool for just over 4 yrs. Since Day 1, I’ve only used Clorox products. The products do a wonderful job and are moderately priced in comparison to the other brands. I keep Clorox Pool&Spa Shock Clear on hand year round here in Florida. The shock clear helps leave the pool crystal clear, free from algae and bugs like pool mites. It’s easy to use. Just disburse into the water and let the filters run for the day. I highly recommend this product and the Clorox lines of pool chemicals.

Can’t go wrong with Clorox Pool Products

I have been using Clorox Pool Products for the past several years and always have great results. I keep several boxes of the Clorox Pool & Spa Shock on hand throughout the pool season and use according to the directions. It has kept my pool sparkling and clean and levels in check. I trust the brand name and recommend to anyone. I am glad that my local stores keep the product in stock.

Good but may stain your vinyl pool.

It is good to use but I prefer liquid mix then the granulated powder. This is because it takes time to dilute in the water. I accidentally dumped a 1/4 cup before on my old pool and it did stain my vinyl pool. If you have it, make sure to have your pool churning if you are going to use this.

Great Product

We used this product at the start of our swim season this year. The pool needed some attention to remove discoloration and cloudiness. We used this for one day and the pool was clear by the next morning. Powerful product.

Season opening shock

I received this product right before I removed the winter cover from my pool. When I did remove the cover the water that I had in yhe pool was pretty green. I used this product to treat the water as a preliminary shock treatment and overnight I could see a noticeable difference in the appearance of the water in the pool. I wil add more water and shock again and I believe that it will clear up to the point that I can continue with the opening process.

I only use Clorox shock in my pool. It keeps the water clean and fresh. I’ve never had a problem with algae or bacteria. I’ve tried a few other brands and they never seem to last, making me shock it twice as much as I would have to with Clorox brand. And the price is the same.

Shockingly Effective!

I was blown away by the effectiveness of Clorox Pool&Spa Shock Clear! After a period of heavy pool use, my water was cloudy and dull. Upon trying to open our pool for the season it was a deep green. Using this product with liquid chlorine took the green out. All thats left to do is vacuum and test chemicals. This shock makes opening pool much easier.

Worked as it should without any hassle

I just opened my pool from winter and it was still clear but algae on the bottom. Clorox shock clear for the pool is a miracle product! I’ve been using for years and I swear by it! I toss a bag in every few days and my pool remains crystal clear!! I have actually saved money on other products by having this one because it works so well! I recommend it to all my friends with pools.

Love this Stuff

I love this shock! It sanitizes and keeps my pool sparking clean for the whole season. With the extra added Algicide is a game changer. The best is you can swim after 15 minutes. This stuff keeps my pool sparking clean for the whole season!

Cloudy to clear in under a week.

When I went to “open” my pool this year it was so cloudy i couldnt see 1/2 down the steps and the pool vac could not be seem. I put open in quotes because im in central florida so my pool is never really closed, just in a holding pattern for 2 or 3 months. My poolbwas cloudy this year because i neglected to clean my salt cell. After cleaning my salt cell i still couldnt get the water clear until I added this shock. Within a couple hours it was starting to clear and within a day it was almost back to normal!

Pool Shock

I’ve been using clorox salt pool shock oxidizer but it has been difficult to find. Tried this shock and results seem to be the same. Keeps pool water clear. Just a bit concerned since this product adds chlorine and I’m not interested in increasing the pool chlorine levels. Other than that, product seems to work fine

It has cyanuric acid

Unfortunately my pool’s cyanuric acid is high so I can’t use this shock but I’ve been using 6-1 that doesn’t have cyanuric acid and it’s been fine. Make sure you don’t mix it in a bucket. Just spread in the pool directly.

Clorox shock

We have had a lot of rain lately here in Texas and I like to shock my pool the next day after it rains. My pool goes from cloudy to clear pretty quickly! I have only had good results with this brand. In previous years, I’ve had to use other brands and had disappointment. Clorox shock puts me in shock with how fast we can get back to swimming!
